Ten Minas Ministries is Based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Most churches would just call this “the youth group” but we’d like to think of it as more than that. Young people are a critical part of the church. They are the energy and inspiration behind everything we do at Ten Minas Ministries.
The Purpose
Mature in their Faith
In the time that young people are engaged with our ministry, we would like to see them develop a consistent devotional life, prayer life, and accountability with fellow believers because we place profound importance on young Christians strengthening their spiritual walk before they confront the adult world.
Defend their Faith
Previous generations have not faced such an intense opposition to the spiritual fundamentals. Whether it be teachers, friends or family embodying these witnessing opportunities, our young people are equipped to fight for what they believe.
Share their Faith
Often young people feel uncomfortable about evangelizing but our goal is to change that by working with them. Instead of pressuring them, we empower them. Working together in evangelistic settings, our team builds both the skills and confidence necessary to share the gospel.
We could just stick to the ordinary.
We could just give you what everyone else does.
But that’s the easy way out. So we skim media to find things that apply to you.
Broaden your horizons, break the molds and ooze your craziness into that blank canvas that could be categorized as your freaking-boring-life. What’s the point in living your life if it turns out exactly how you expected it? That’s the thinking behind Ten Minas Ministires. Leave us a comment if you aren’t impressed.
High School
Weekly Ministry Events
Ten Minas Cafe is a place where all high-schoolers are welcome for live music and entertainment while we explore a Christian perspective on life. Join us in the back chapel of FPC every Monday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Accountability Groups are a time where our students can share with and help others with their relationship with Christ. Our students will be encouraged and challenged to overcome the trials and temptations in their life and grow deeper in their faith.
Sunday School is a time where our students can gather together, before the church service, and hear and discuss the word of God. We are currently working through a survey of the Bible. We meet in Room 302 on the FPC campus. The class is taught by our Adult leaders in our High School Ministry.
Middle School
Weekly Events
Ten Minas Middle is an hour of intensity! The teens will enjoy exciting games and a lesson from God’s word. Each night is a different theme. The games and events of the night will center around the theme. Come join in on the fun and excitement every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Coral Springs Christian Academy Gym.
Sunday School is a time where our students can come together, before the church service, and hear and discuss the Word of God. We are currently working through the Attributes of God. JoAnn Davis leads this study. Join us every Sunday from 9:30am-10:30am in Room 301 on the FPC Campus.
